Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Goba and Harenna Forest
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Goba. Upon arrival, we drive into the Harenna Forest, one of the few remaining large-scale natural forests in Ethiopia, known for its unique flora and wild coffee. Overnight in Goba.
Day 2: Sanetti Plateau and Harenna Forest
Today features an excursion to the Sanetti Plateau, where you have the highest chance of encountering the endemic Ethiopian Wolf. We then proceed back through the Harenna Forest, the second densest forest in Ethiopia, to observe its diverse wildlife and birds. Overnight in Goba.
Day 3: Sof Omar Cave Excursion
We head to Sof Omar Cave, the longest cave in Ethiopia and the largest cave system in Africa. The Weyib River flows through this 15km underground network of limestone pillars and vaults. After enjoying this magnificent natural wonder, we drive back to Goba for the night.
Day 4: Return to Addis Ababa
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel or preferred location for the evening.
